African Swiss Cultural Festival @ GZ Heuried

Hear the beat of a Zulu drum and the dancing Xhosa maidens, the colorful dressing of the Ibo and Yoruba of the Nigerian descent, the history of the Ashanti Kingdom and athletic physique of the Maasai warriors, explore or quench your thirst with a traditional African beer.
AFRICAN SWISS CULTURAL FESTIVAL is a vibrant festival which objective is intimately aligned with the spirit of African Heritage.
Our mission is to promote African Arts & Culture and our main goal is to showcase African cultures in Switzerland. Our organization is devoted to the proliferation and continuation of culture, self-worth, gender equality, empowerment of women, children & youth, integration and a feeling of belonging amongst the African descent (or diaspora) worldwide through showcasing our rich culture. We believe this event will enable Africans in Switzerland to demonstrate their arts and culture to a cosmopolitan audience in Switzerland
Each exhibitor or artist will identify one of the African countries to represent. Friends of Africa from other countries who appreciate African culture are also welcome to represent any of the African country.
African Cultural Festival is becoming one of the most-attended events in Zurich and is the largest cultural Festival bringing together Afro Swiss from all cultures and backgrounds to celebrate the tastes, smells, sights, rhythms and sounds of Africa.
